BIOGRAPHY
Jake holds a Bachelors’ degree in Biology with minors in Kinesiology and Psychology from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he also played three seasons on the baseball team. He spent his first two years at Carl Albert State College and Eastern Oklahoma State College where he played on two NJCAA World Series teams and graduated with an Associates’ degree in Science. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Cooper Institute. He holds a certification in Biomechanics of Resistance Training through the Cooper Institute and holds CAPEC certification. Jake specializes in core stabilization and sport specific training but believes a holistic approach to exercise is best. He has over 20 years’ experience in organized athletics as well as the fitness industry. He’s worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from a 11-year-old baseball player to an 89-year-old man who had both knees replaced. When you train with Jake, you’ll get sore from muscles you didn’t even know you had!
